Horse Activities Elbert County Real Estate Market

Horse Pens Elbert County Real EstateSouth of Denver we find amazing places in the Elbert County real estate market to own horses.  So much of the lifestyle in the rural community revolves around down to earth recreational activities, horses and other animals, and farming. Elbert County is east of Castle Rock in an area along Highway 86, midway between the Denver suburbs and Colorado Springs.

Perhaps you would like to open an equestrian business in the area.  Horses are a way of life here.  And there are many horse trails along the Colorado Front Range.  The equestrian industry adds $110-$135 million to the economies of Elbert County and neighboring Douglas County.  According to the Douglas-Elbert Horse Council, between 1400 and 1950 people are employed in the industry.

Equestrian Events at Elbert County Fairgrounds
