In fact, people walk, run, horseback ride, hike, bike and rollerblade around the town trails. The new O’Brien Park with its beautiful pool, the 140-acre Salisbury Equestrian Park, the easy access to the Cherry Creek trail system—along with several other wonderful facilities like the ball field sponsored by the Colorado Rockies and the Challenger Park inline hockey and skateboard park—are all thoughtfully designed to help everyone find a way to enjoy the great outdoors.
And indoors you’ll find a community fitness center, shopping from quaint to superstore, restaurants and all the services you need close at hand.
People also take an interest in the arts and lots of community life. There are historic walking tours with old stagecoach stops, historic homes, children’s theater, live concerts in the summer, town events like the Parker Country Festival sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and the Parker Country Carriage Parade that kicks off the holiday season each year.
