This area is served by the Douglas County School District, one of the best in the state, and interesting continuing education courses.  Arapahoe County College’s University Center at Chapparel offers post-graduate and technical programs.

With a current population of 30,000, this is one of the top-20 growing communities and also has the highest median income level in the United States.  And it is no longer is totally dependent on the metro area for employment.  A pro-business, development-friendly atmosphere has drawn many residents and non-residents alike to work in town instead of commuting to a metro area.  But many people do commute the 15 minutes to Meridian, Inverness or the Tech Center; and the international airport is only 25 minutes away for the globetrotting population.
