Move your family and horses 45 minutes northeast of Downtown Denver to Weld County horse real estate in Platteville.  You will love the new Pelican Lake Ranch development and its horse-friendly ranchettes. Fit in one horse per acre with a barn and corral in this quiet rural oasis.

Equestrian facilities include riding trails, two riding arenas, cross country jump course, and additional horse facilities in the future.  Property owners can board horses on the majority of lots.  Along with large country estates, the 3,600-acre master planned community offers sought-after resort-style amenities.

Amenities

Desirable on-site amenities offer something for everyone. Approximately 1500 acres preserved open space, for starters. A fully equipped community center and gathering place is situated at the heart. The center features a gated swimming pool, fountain area, wading pool and huge deck and cabana. There are picnic tables, tennis courts, putting green, shuffleboard, and a sports court plus the children’s play area with slides, swings, and a climbing wall nearby. The center also allows access to a full fitness center, party and meeting rooms, and a kitchen.

The private Lake Christina is surrounded by nature trails and a bird is chewing. Picnic facilities and nature trails surround the stocked lake – trout, bass, crappie, blue Gill, strippers, and catfish.  Miles of walking and riding trails plus nice equestrian facilities bring it all home.  Adjacent to Pelican Lake Ranch property, Milton Reservoir and marina is a great place for boating – kayaks, canoes, sailboats, and low-powered craft.

The closest concentration of shopping, dining, and medical facilities are 20 minutes away in Greeley.
